Canada Lands Company Announces Departure of President and CEO Mark Laroche

TORONTO, November 5, 2012 — It is with regret that the Board of Directors of Canada Lands Company announces the resignation of Mark Laroche from his position as President and Chief Executive Officer.

“Mark has made significant contributions to the success of this organization,” said Canada Lands Company Chairman Grant Walsh. “We appreciate everything that Mark has done for Canada Lands. The opportunity of a new challenge closer to his family was a major factor in his decision. We thank Mark for his leadership and wish him all the best in the future.”

The Board of Directors is meeting this week to discuss leadership and strategy for the future. The Chairman will be increasing his role until new interim leadership is named.
